Originally from the UK, Jonathan has over fifteen years’ recruitment experience. He spent the first five years of his career working for one of the UK’s leading public sector agencies before moving to Australia, “becoming an Aussie, learning to surf and working as a medical recruiter”.
Jonathan launched Jon & Jon Medical in 2014 and is focused on growing a company where everyone enjoys heading to work and is passionate about what they do – which is helping doctors make life-changing and career-enhancing professional moves.
Jonathan loves more than anything spending time with his wife and their two little ones, Ella and Max. He also loves sunshine, travel, and football (it’s football, not soccer).
He dislikes vegemite (it’s just not Marmite), clutter, mess and cockroaches.
His favourite place in Australia is Karajini National Park, WA. His bucket list includes diving in Sipadan, a safari in Tanzania and drinking his favourite rum in Cuba.
Jonathan’s favourite music is Blues, Lounge and Reggae (long gone are the days of Dance, Hip Hop and R&B!). And he must admit that he also enjoys a little bit of classical music while driving.
