As the Operations Manager at Jon & Jon Medical, Alex is the driving force behind our business's efficiency and effectiveness. You might meet him at an industry conference, where he manages the logistics for our team, or you might interact with him through his wide-ranging responsibilities encompassing HR, Recruitment processes, Systems optimisation, and Financial oversight. 

Alex is also the passionate Giving Manager for our charity partnerships and fundraising initiatives, reflecting his commitment to making a difference beyond the professional sphere. Based in our Sydney CBD office, he ensures everything runs smoothly, allowing our recruitment specialists to focus on what they do best – connecting exceptional doctors with rewarding opportunities.

Alex has a wealth of experience working with doctors at all stages of their careers, from motivated Junior Doctors to highly experienced FACEMs. 

He engages with both local Australian doctors and international medical professionals seeking to enhance their skills and explore the unique opportunities Australia offers. What Alex enjoys most is understanding the diverse motivations that drive each individual, allowing him to contribute to a recruitment process that truly values personal and professional aspirations.

One of Alex's most memorable placements involved facilitating a crucial two-month stint for a GP in a correctional centre located in a very remote part of Queensland. When a significant challenge arose with finding suitable accommodation within budget and proximity, Alex's resourcefulness shone. He proactively engaged with the local community, even joining a local Facebook group, which led to finding a lovely self-contained studio on a local's farm. This innovative solution ensured both the client and the doctor were delighted with the outcome, showcasing Alex's commitment to going the extra mile.
