Refer & Be Rewarded

When you refer a doctor or nurse who secures a locum placement with Jon & Jon Medical and completes the required number of work days, we’ll say thank you with a generous reward:

• $500 for each qualifying Doctor referral
• $250 for each qualifying Nurse referral

Our commitment to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation goes beyond a single act of giving. For every doctor or nurse you refer who secures a locum placement with Jon & Jon Medical, we’ll donate culturally relevant books directly to the Aboriginal communities we work alongside.

But the impact doesn't stop there. With every subsequent placement your referred healthcare professional undertakes, we’ll continue to support ILF initiatives—helping fund programs that empower communities to write, illustrate, and publish their own stories in their chosen languages. Together, we’re helping to strengthen literacy, preserve culture, and celebrate the power of storytelling across Australia.

It's Simple to Refer & Earn

Taking part in the Jon & Jon Medical Referral Program is easy. Simply tell us about a doctor or nurse you know who’s looking for locum or permanent work in Australia — whether they’re a friend, family member or a colleague. 

Once they’re placed and meet the eligibility criteria, you’ll receive your reward. It’s that simple.

Referral Programme Terms and Conditions

Eligibility:

Make sure you're registered with Jon & Jon Medical as a doctor or nurse to take part!

New Referrals Only:

toReferrals are for new Doctors or Nurses only. That means the person you're referring shouldn't have previously worked with Jon & Jon Medical, applied for one of our jobs, or already be in our database.

Reward Trigger:

You’ll receive your reward and activate the initial ILF donation once your referred colleague meets the qualifying work days:

• Your referred doctor completes 20 days of work with us.
• Your referred nurse completes 30 days of work with us.

Reward Payment:

Your reward will be transferred to your nominated bank account once the referred doctor or nurse successfully completes their qualifying days of work.

Unlimited Referrals:

There is no limit to the number of new candidates you can refer, meaning there's no limit to the positive impact you can help create.

First Referral Counts:

If a candidate is referred by more than one person, the first referral submitted to Jon & Jon Medical will be deemed eligible for the reward.

Disclosure Authority:

By accepting our terms, you confirm you have the authority to disclose the name of the person being referred to us. Without this authority, you acknowledge ineligibility for the programme.

Programme Changes:

Jon & Jon Medical may, at its discretion, change or remove existing terms or add new terms at any time.
